I never really post bumpers on Mograph TV because I feel they’re a little too short and don’t pack enough content. Although this bumper is only 18 seconds, it has a very cool art style and music. Please let me know what you think. I also spoke with Oscar to get an idea of the process:

Oscar: This bumper was created for Nrmal (www.nrmal.net). A company comprised of a strategic brand consulting and also a design studio. They where looking for a piece that could be used on the web as a bumper to show before their videos and in the parties and art shows they organize regularly as a projection. It had to reveal their logo in a slow and abstract way.
The 3D was done in maya (modeling, texturing and lighting) and the post was done in after effects. (color correction, DOF and lens flares).

The sound was designed by Leobardo Olivares.
