Happy New Years everyone! I wanted to kick off 2010 with an awesome little short film and I’ve found it! These beautifully simple characters hoping around and painting Paris made me smile. The song coats the theme very well and evokes personality in the actors 
. There’s so many beautiful shots in this piece, which has inspired me to visit.

The music really suits these characters as they wake up, come to life and set out on their mission. The colors were sloppily painted on which was cute and added to the personas of the characters. The anticipation created by that giant block-monster tipping the paint can was great, my imagination had time to run wild with what might pour out of that can when it hit the roof. Unfortunately, the effect of the colors spilling out of that paint can was hardly noticeable, and i almost missed it. Near the end when the video was edited to make it look like the musicians were playing the track we had been hearing throughout the whole video was great. Really clever concept, really cute characters.
