I really love making espresso on traditional machines and this movie sums it up perfectly. There’s very minimal effects used in this film but they play such a massive role. The brown of the coffee makes the scene look beautiful and completes the classic look.

    :D Watched this this morning while sipping my coffee. I’ve never liked espresso very much but now i’m thinking maybe I just had bad espresso. I’m jealous you have one of those machines in your office. I want to play with one!

    I really enjoyed the choices they made regarding what objects get color. And one of the final shots was my favorite; the one near the end where that guy looked like a scientist bubbling solutions in beakers.

    Haha yeah :) espresso is very beautiful and fun. It’s easy to make bad so it doesn’t surprise me that you’ve had a bad experience with it. I actually didn’t drink it at all until I started making it at work.
